Description
The MD300W1 wrist pulse oximeter, a US FDA registered device, is specifically designed for monitoring and recording blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2 in %) and heart rate (HR) of patients at sleep. Its technology is accurate for monitoring adults, children as well as pediatric and neonatal patients** according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Included software and USB cable allow data transferring to PC to store/display up to 72 hours of SpO2% and HR for analysis and diagnosis of sleep disorders such as apnea and hypopnea by physicians. Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) patients with apnea of either a long duration (10 seconds or longer) or frequent events (5 times or more per hour) should consult with their doctors.
It’s compact and lightweight, using one AAA battery (included) and stores up to 10 patients’ data. Ideal for clinical and research applications, as well as home monitoring, for patients with sleep disorders. Other applications include SpO2/HR monitoring for athletes, pilots, firefighters, etc. during training, exercise or in difficult breathing environments. It can also be very useful for routine SpO2/HR monitoring for patients with respiratory or cardiac problems such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Other features include low-battery indicator, probe-off and finger-out alarms, and LCD with back-light displays SpO2, HR and pulse strength bar. It is covered by a one year manufacturer’s warranty. |
